Lisa Jackson's Without Mercy

Lisa Jackson, a veteran author nationally known for her more than fifteen bestsellers, including the number one New York Times Best Seller, FATAL BURN, is looking to repeat with her new story, "Without Mercy"  just out this month.

The setting this time is an exclusive academy in Oregon for wayward teenagers who are in need of discipline and direction. The campus is state-of-the-art and has the facade of a quality educational facility, but the students there have a tendency to go missing or turn up dead.


Protagonist Julie Farentino applies for a job as a teacher at the prep school to shepherd her half-sister, Shaylee, who landed there after a series of run-ins with with the law forced her mother take action.  The school's Headmaster , a sometimes arrogant minister, seems to be a caring professional at first glance, but Jules begins wonder what evil is permeating the faculty and students as the body count increases.
